What are the benefits?
At a
speed dating event you will not only have around
10 dates in one night you also know that everyone
has paid money to be there so they are serious
about meeting someone and having a good night out.
There are no membership fees or hidden fees with
our service. We are not a match making service but
an event management company that caters to single
people. Please note, we may host free events every
now and then to promote the concept and depending
sponsors requirements.
Who attends?
Confident, cool single people looking
for a fun night out and who just don’t have time
to meet other like-minded singles, through work
pressures and hectic lifestyles.
Can anyone sign
up? We are looking for single people,
over 18 years old and with a valid credit card and
email address. The event organizers who host each
event will decide on the age category for the
event and this information will be listed on the
website under the events listing.
Are you coming to my
area soon? We organize new events
throughout India all the time. If there are no
events listed for your area at the time, please
feel free to contact us so we can put
you on a waiting list for when a new event is
released in your area, so you will be the first to
know. Alternatively you can sign up to be a partner such as an event
organizer, it is a simple process and you are able
to make some money out of this.
How long does a
5minutesdate event last? Depending on
the number of guests, an event may last between
two to three hours. We will ensure the bar is open
and since the ice is broken you may have an
opportunity to mingle after the dates with the
person/people of your choice
Will 5 minutes per
date suffice? Five minutes can seem too
short with an interesting person but at the same
time can seem like an eternity with someone you
don’t get along with! Our surveys tell us that
five minutes is just about the right amount of
time to decide whether there’s any chemistry &
you’re prepared to invest a couple of hours in a
follow-up date.
What is a match?
A ‘match’ simply occurs when two people
both tick each other on their scorecards.
Approximately 24 hours after the event you will
receive an email confirming that the results of
the event are on the website for you to view.
Can I get the details
of somebody that did not choose me as a match?
No that will remove the fun of the
event and we will ensure and respect our
customers’ wishes.
What information is
given to my matches? The only contact
information given to matches is the first name
& email address of the people they have
matched with. Under no circumstances do we provide
any other contact details. However, within our
website, you are also able to add optional
additional information. This can be very useful,
especially if you end up getting multiple matches
per event.
What is the attire for
the events? First impressions count so
dress to impress. Smart casual or whatever you
feel comfortable in. You can ask the event
organizer since he/she has a right to reject you
if they feel you attire is not appropriate.
Can I show up to a
sold out event? You can show up to the
party but not participate in the speed dating
event, assuming the bouncer for the venue allows
you entrance, which we cannot control. We only
ensure your entry if you are registered in advance
for an actual speed dating event.
Why do I have to pay
in advance? To ensure equal ratio of
male/female guests and confirm venue arrangements
we have to collect numbers and pay for our venues
in advance.
Can I pay at the
door? Unfortunately not as we need to
ensure that our ratio of males/females is equal
& therefore can’t risk someone not turning up
on the night to unbalance this.
What payment cards do
you accept? Through our fully secure
payment system, we can accept payment through the
following cards - VISA, AMEX, MasterCard etc.
How do I know my
payment is secure? Our booking procedure
is fully secure & none of your credit card
details are stored with us. Please see our privacy statement for
further information if required.
What is your
cancellation policy? Unfortunately we
are not able to accept cancellations, as the
quality & success of our event would be
compromised by an uneven ratio of males/females.
We suggest you either find a friend to take your
place or contact your event organizer and see what
options he can provide.
